Freeing up disk space

If you have Napster, Kazaa, or any of the popular music downloading programs on your PC, you may have used up a lot of room, and have the potential for problems. Because it is illegal to download music without paying, the music companies are coming after consumers. In one case, it's said that a 12 year old was fined $2000 for downloaded music.

The safe thing to do is remove the music and as a bargain, gain some room. If you have a CD burner, you can burn the music to disk, and then delete it from your hard drive. The same goes for pictures and video files. These take up a tremendous amount of hard drive space, and that's a major reason CD burners were created. Copy all those files on to CDs, and then defragment your hard drive. You'll be surprised how much room you'll gain.
